The Association would usually have two or three retreats booked in over the summer by now as well as regular one day events. However, as the situation here in the UK remains very unpredictable we have decided not to book any dates for retreats in Devon this summer just yet. We will reconsider the position in May and, if it feels safe to do so, we will arrange one or two retreats, probably for July or August. It would be useful to know whether there is interest in attending a retreat this summer, feel free to email – info@daoists.co.uk – to let us know if you would be interested and think you are likely to be available – there is obviously no commitment involved. We are intending that there will be an event open to those who have not been on retreat with us before, though membership of the Association (£20 pa) would be q requirement. We will also consider at the same time the possibility of recommencing holding one day events in Devon and the South East.
We have considered the possibility of providing cultivation teaching online but have decided that this isn’t an appropriate medium for our particular approach to cultivation. We may be able to run another Reading Group online as we did last summer but will not be able to confirm this before the end of May.
Of course we look forward to being able to meet in person again before too long.
